Environmental Justice & Transportation: A Citizen's Handbook is now available from the Institute of
Transportation Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Although the focus is on incorporating
environmental justice into transportation planning and projects, the book is an excellent introduction to the
general concept of environmental justice. Bound copies can be ordered by e-mail from

Single copies are free, and orders up to five copies are $5 apiece. Arrangements can be made for discounts and
