On Thursday, May 12, commuters across the Bay Area will again participate in the annual Bike to Work Day. In its 17th year, the event promotes a healthy, climate-friendly alternative to the rush-hour grind. Hundreds of thousands of bicyclists are expected to join in, and they will be supported with free coffee, snacks, and tote bags available at "Energizer Stations" around the region.
